What the result shows
The National Public Procurement Portal (PNCP) keeps the result of each item of a purchase. The purchasing system of the public body sends this data to the portal. Each result shows:
- Who won: the name and the CNPJ or CPF of the supplier, the company size and the legal nature.
- How much: the quantity, the awarded unit and total values, and the discount, if any.
- When: the date of the result.
- Benefits applied: treatment for micro and small companies, preference margin or tie-break rule.
- Cancellation: the date and the reason, when the result is cancelled.
When the result appears
The award (homologação) is the last phase of a tender (Law 14,133/2021, art. 17, VII). The result reaches PNCP when the system of the public body sends it.
The contract has a legal deadline. It only takes effect after it is published on PNCP: up to 20 business days after signature for a tender, and up to 10 business days for a direct purchase (art. 94).
What the result is for
- Check the price that the government paid before you prepare your proposal.
- See who wins in your segment and with which public bodies.
- Decide if a tender is worth it: compare your cost with the awarded values.
How many results exist
Results dated September 2026 add up to 192,000 items in 30,800 purchases. EditalMD counted them in the PNCP open data on 27 October 2026. Late results can still arrive.
